“A garden is a grand teacher. It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift; above all it teaches entire trust.” - Gertrude Jekyll
The garden (like yoga) has much to teach us, let’s explore bringing some garden wisdom into our yoga practice and mindful movement into our gardens. We will explore ways to stabilize and release tension in the places that gardening can be hard on: Shoulders, Hands/Wrists, Backs and Hips. Kristi will offer three short sequences: Pre-Garden Warm-Up, Midway Check-In and Stretch, and After Gardening Movement & Restorative. This will be a gentle yoga practice that will be accessible to most bodies, Kristi will offer options for poses to meet you in the body you have.
